Knit & Stitch Show Ally Pally

View From Ally Pally out over London.

Last Sunday found Strawberry Annie's scouring the aisles of the Knit and Stitch show at Ally Pally for new goodies/inspiration. Normallly I come back with only a smidgen of the items I would like due to cash flow but sadly this year I didn't really buy very much at all. There was some gorgeous fabric but all too expensive to be a viable option for making my products.

I did hover around the very scrumptious looking Blooming Felt stall. This company is run by the lovelist lady who is from our part of Essex, so it was nice to have a chat. Her stall was by far the nicest looking one.

I did however buy up quite alot of sewing magazines and was particulary impressed by Cloth magazine.
This is very much aimed at have a go stitiching and upcycling items etc rather than traditional sewing ideas. Young and fresh approach while worth a look.

Buy British

Buy British - Why? well the dull answer is with the country still in a financial mess...the best way forward is support the UK by Buying British, but the best reason is just because there is so much talent right here in old Blighty why go elsewhere or pay for cheap mass produceded products.

How about these fantastic birthday cards all limited editions....available from Button Soup
Check out the other cool items in stock.

Button Soup are based in Essex (where all the best designers reside LOL!) and specialise in all things amazing!!!! Go check them out, custom orders also available.

Fairy Dresses Need New Homes

Before I became a strawberry, I ran a fairy business. My loft is still housing a lot of fairy stock, so with Halloween and Christmas approaching I am looking to clear them all.

These are all brand new, with tags, and I have lots of sizes available. Any dress now only £10, this is an absolulte bargain as some of them retail upto £30. I am also listing ten as a job lot for £99.00, which would be ideal to sell on and make a few pennies.

Give me a shout if you like the look of any.
